They are a group of newcomers in the showbiz scene!

They brought a new sensations to tis industry with a big turnout of their supportive fans for their 1st meet-the-fans promo!

We had to cut short a one-hour promo to a ten-minute promo due to the overwhelming turnout!!

The fans running around us......following us all the way to the bus!!

Just outside Cineleisure......it was packed like sardines!!

Tis was the 2nd Meet-the-fans promo and with barricades to control the crowds!

They were q-ing up to get the autographed postcards & having the chance to go onstage to take pics with the young ones!!

They STILL chasing after the bus......true-blue fans!!

Five cartons of gifts for the young ones.....BEST!! and we had to get the managers & staffs to help distributes the gifts to respective actors!

Then the fans turned up at the TV station!!!......

Before i went off, here's thanks to the fans for making tis event a memorable one!!

Wonderful team filled with a lot of laughter, "bitching" behind each other back, "愉拍”-ing each other!

We were like a family, longing to see everyone weeks after weeks.....

Behind every successful program is a great creative team: Producer Ah Lian, Able to take our nonsense Camera Man Thong Thong, 傻妹 AP-coordinator Cai Fang, Script Writer Justin, Handsome Joseph.......not forgetting my PA : Finn !! Thks Finn for making my job easier & lighter my bags la!!

And this show started my PLANKING.............

2011 was not a great year for me BUT i was glad & happy to have this team & artistes to work with ....they made my 2011 a wonderful & memorable year for me!!

Joi Chua, our very own local singer, opened an optical shop right at the heart of Holland Village.

She studied optometry & had even worked & helped out in hospital as an optometrist.

Now she fulfill her dream of opening an optical shop & being her own boss.

Her shop called Eyecare People, is not for nothing....they really care about their customers.

She tested my eyesight personally with precise care & explanation. As i told her my concern of myopia & presbyopia, she took the trouble to put different kind of lenses into the eye-test, to show me what's the different of each lenses in terms of sharpness, blurry & focus. She even explained the new technology of combining myopia & presbyopia lenses together and will STILL look as a piece of len without a line in-between! PERFECT!! YES, i know i have to agree i am getting old BUT i dont hv to show i have 老花眼, right?? Joi also explained & showed me how i can change & wear different degrees (both eyes) for my contact lenses and still can handle & read well even with my 老花lor!! AMAZING REVELATION!!!

After we agreed on the lenses, she even helped me to choose the metal green frame by Anne Et Valentin!! Actually I had chose 2 frames and she explained the differences i wore on each of them. She even asked where i usually wear my specs to. And she explained that this green frame will make me look younger, fresher even without make up on.....WOW!! Don't u agreed i really look fresh in the photo (btw i wasnt having any makeup on hor!)

I really will recommend tis shop to all of u cos of the service & explanation they provide, NOT because it's opened by JOI CHUA, okay.......

I went for LPG treatment a month ago. Alot of pp will ask : whats LPG?

LPG is a treatment that stimulate & breakdown the cellulite thus reshaping & contouring the body.

I have to change into a tis stocking-look-alike full body garment called Endermowear. It's a clothing made specially for LPG. It grips the skin well to give an even more effective Lipomassage.

Therapist @ work......moving the roller on areas that need contouring!

The roller movement : roll 'up, roll 'in, roll 'out

These movements help to eliminate fat deposits, revitalize blood & lymphatic circulation & reactivate lipolysis. It can also stimulate collagen & firm up the skin.

All of u must b wondering why i did LPG. Well, i may not look fat to u, but i really have alot of cellulite on my thighs!! If any of u notice, i used to have long slender legs....BUT these 3 years, my legs started to get bigger!! I have so many pairs of pants & jeans not able to fit in!! YES....it's true!!

So i decided to go for tis LPG treatment.

Tis treatment must do it once every week. And depending on how "big" u are, more sessions will be needed to get into shape & slimmer.

I had 4 sessions over a mth (in between missed out one session cos of lady prob la!!) and i am saw results on my 3rd session!! My body is more shaped esp the waist to hip area and my thighs are getting smaller!

I wished i have photos to show u my results.......but i havent take any pics yet.

Tis is the BEST 老鼠粉, mee tai mak, in JB and it reminded me of my childhood.

They used salted fish pieces to cook with the soup and the minced pork is very crunchy & juicy with a little flavour of sesame oil. As u can see, the soup is not like our singapore's minced pork noodle which is very clear, tis is cook over fire for a long time with ingredients like minced pork, small prawns, mushrooms & the very tasty 東菜 to get the thickness of the stock.

After having tis in JB, i tar bao 2 packets to bring back s'pore to eat lor!!

tis is the pork lark rice 滷肉飯...and u see the reason why is called PORK LARK ....fatty pork meat is chopped into small pieces, separating the lark & skin.....

It's been a long time that i didnt go to JB to eat and shop due to my busy schedules until last weekends when i went to stay for a night.

Today i went to JB AGAIN with my gd frds & mum......and yes, tis is ONE OF MY FAV lunch place!! I think the last time i went to tis Seng Steam Fish Restaurant, it was mayb 2 yrs ago!!! No wonder the boss & his lady MISSed me and me too!!!

If u ask me wat to order, i dont know cos everytime we were there, the boss will say:" 我來安排!" (let me arrange the menu/ leave it to me). But not to worry, watever dishes he served u, i can guarantee, it will be gd home-cooked food!!

Fried boneless fish.....their MUST HAVE signature dish!!!!

Steam pumpkin & yam with fried ikan billis! 1st time i see chinese restaurant serving pumpkin... yummy!!!

Sitr-fry french beans, lady-fingers & smelly beans with dried shrimps & onions - my fav!!

Bitter-gourd with salted egg yolk - my fav too!!

whenever i go to JB, i will definitely go to Lavender Bistro to have my hi-tea meal.

just last weekend, i chanced upon tis black bread that my frd bought!!

tis is Bamboo Charcoal Sandwich!!

it look like burnt toast but actually it's very soft & taste sweeter than normal white bread!!

i was worried my teeth will all turn black like how yr whole mouth become black when u eat squid ink pasta....but tis bread WONT !! see.....NOT a single black stain on my teeth or lips!!

Fann gave me a spa voucher from Asian Spa for helping her with her hen's nite party last year!

I kept the voucher for almost 3 mths plus ( cos only expire after 6mths mah!! ) and finally went to use it after all the hectic PSC's Charity dance rehs & movie filming!!

The room that i did my spa.....a head-to-toe treatment!!

It was a very relaxing massage for me and the scrub really cleared off alot of dead skins off me to let me have a very glowing body!! Now i feel so recharged!!!

Thks Fann, it was a pleasure hanging out with u no matter if i am helping u with yr wedding or filming with u, or just sipping wine @ ah bu's hse with yr hubby, Chris!! Looking forward to work with u more or .......see u in Gan's pl for CNY lor!!

My Halloween wedding gown

Bought tis wedding gown for $200 including the gloves & veil....then i ripped & tear the gown, gloves & veil......dripping blood & black oil paint on it.

Of cos i booked Mercs cab to come pick me la...dont wan to scare pp mah!!

I did special effect make up myself....YES u can get the stuffs from Toy 'R' Us lor.

At the end of the night, i was MORE messy & dirty la!!

Had to wash hair & bath until CLEAN CLEAN then can go to bed leh.....can die!! By the time i finished blowing my hair, it's was 6am liao lor!!

Looking forward to next year Halloween !!

Es Kacang Hijau S$3 - This taste exactly like Cheedol only that tis is only green bean in rich coconut milk & the brown sugar.

Ayam Penyet S$ 6 - If u love Ayam Penyat, then must try tis. This come with some boil kang kong, a piece of fried bean curd & tempe, cabbage and those crispy crumbs......PLUS that v powerful belanchan!!!

Gado Gado S$ 4.50 - Love tis !! The peanut sauce is think and with so many pieces of crackers, i just cant stop eating it!!!

Alot of people feel that most Ecco shoes dont look fashionable enough and very difficult to match with daily outfits..they say, comfort shoes ALWAYS dont look nice !! Well, i bet to differ cos here's are some Ecco shoes i got for myself and i thot they really looked stylish & fashionable....even classic !!!

Ecco Lite Boot - very light & comfortable leather, comes in black & brown. I wore it with my jean fold-up to look hip & rugged and tis is best for traveling to cold country - it kept my feet warm!! The removable insole increases air circulation to create the perfect inner climate!!

Ecco Granada Lace-up Pump - the classic pump comes with a metallic-look leather lining and it can be wore with a knee-length skirt and shirt to create a stylish office up-to-date look. U also can wear a black legging, hot mini-skirt with a beautiful tee to go for a hot date & move on to the club for party!! PLUS the heel is only ard 2½--3"ins only.....AND it's really comfortable to wear for long hours cos i overhead Bernice (well-known model) said: I've been wearing tis since 10am and my feet not hurt!!....when she spoke to me, thats already 6pm!!! So she's been standing, walking & running around with tis pump for 8hrs!!

AND I MUST have a red shoe la!!

Ecco Thrill Tie - tis is a great combination of leathers & textile and it look trendy without putting in too much sporty look!! Went to my frd's pl to stay over the week.....and found a can of coke EXPLODED in the fridge ( pls note: it's fridge compartment NOT the freezer hor!!) And i m NOT joking when i say exploded cos u can see from the pic, the top portion of the coke can came off!! WIN LIAO!!......cos i had to do the cleaning la!!

Tis was the result when u left yr coke in the fridge right to the rear area.....it got too cold and gassy and ......THAT'S IT lor!!!

So DONT PLay play with yr coke !! See How powerful it can be!!!

I REALLY love Pontian wan tan mee......and i will always try to eat it weekly!! Tis time, I tried it in SOUP and it taste FABULOUS!!! The noodles was al dente and with the char siew, it give a very sweet taste to the soup!!.....and of cos i MUST add in the pork lard to boost up the whole flavour of the mee!!!

DAMN!!! Now i craving for tis.........

Whenever i go to HK, i MUST eat these century eggs......cos it's definitely ten times better than those u get in spore........the yolk of each century egg is creamy without the "stinky" smell ....and look at this pics, the outer layer is like a jelly, so translucent!!!!

HHHmmmmmm..................DAMN BEST!!!

These century eggs from HK are the BEST to cook in porridge cos the creamy yolk will "melt" into the porridge and u WILL taste the eggs in it. Not like in spore....only can taste the century eggs WHEN u eat the eggs in the porridge BUT when u take a spoonful of JUST the porridge, no taste of it lor!!

Now i miss these eggs!!!

Jumbo Seafood opened a new eating place in VIVO CIty. This J-pot is actually a steam-boat place !! They have the usual chicken stock soup base (they made the base with their own secret wor!!) and also herbal base. But they also wanted to cater to the younger crowds so they included LAKSA, Tom Yam and BAK KUT TEH soup base!! Well.....some people like it REAL healthy, and i bet ONLY tis J-Pot has it ONLY.....the PORRIDGE soup base!!

This is a new eatery to go when u at BIG SPLASH......beside having a cup of Old Town coffee and kaya bread, why not have a full dinner on RICE!! AND if u are a sucker for claypot rice, here's one on the east coast area for u!! I always go to chinatown for my craving of claypot chicken rice owned by these 3 sisters.....and their version is a black sauce type. For tis Claypot rice on the east side, it's totally a new different version -HK version la!!! They DONT SERVE u BLACK sauce BUT only soy sauce!! So why not give it a try.......bet u will ask for more la!!

This is the cafe that used to be at Heeren . When Heeren revamped, they moved out to cuppage plaza. It took me a long time to go around looking for this cafe NOT becos i wan to draw graffiti on the walls or tables & chairs BUT becos i LOVE the PONTIAN wan tan mee!! Then while shopping at far east, I FOUND TIS new outlet!! WOW....it's like POW POW BOOM.....i can have my FAV wan tan mee right in my FAV shopping center!

Pontian Wan Tan Mee - al-denta noodles with char siew, fried wan tan and come with a small bowl of soup with WAN TAN inside!! So a total of 6 pieces (fried & soup) wan tan with every bowl of mee u ordered!! A MUST-EAT version, Black sauce with chillies!! The black sauce add in the Oommpphhhsss....in the mee!!
They have 3 versions: -
A) tomato sauce without chillies
B) Only chillies sauce
C) Black sauce with chillies......TIS IS THE MUST HAVE VERSION!!!

The q during lunch time.....so to beat the long q (& yes, sometime they cooked until mix up the orders!!) , better to go off peak hours la.

Love the graffiti on the walls, and u can bring along your colour markers to write or draw too!! A great place for itchy-handed people and kids lor!! I did wrote my name on one of the table i sat...but cant find liao....mayb tables moved around lor or after cleaning the tables with detergents, all the writing and drawing slowly wiped off liao lor!!

A full meal for 2 persons!! And i side ordered a bowl of wan tan soup ( 14pcs) . That DRINKS - sour plum!!!

Usually i always side ordered Fried wan tan (14pcs) to go with mayo!!

Mango with mango sauce

This is snow-like ice kacang. Milk is added to water and frozen to a block of ice. Every mouthful there is a sweet taste and with the added flavour sauces and fruits, it's just like eating ice-cream kacang. Someting new for desserts and cooling to a hot afternoon shopping!!

If u at Jumbo Seafood and afraid to dirty your clothes when eating chillie crabs, u can ask for a bib to use!! Feel pai-say for that?? WOnt la....get the whole table of people to wear it too!! Trust me....u will enjoy yr crabs so much u wont even bother if the sauce splash onto u!!

Found this small thai eatery at HDB heartland !!! The eatery name......NaKhon Kitchen - opened by 2 young people (i think so la..cos i saw them working hard serving customers!!). They have 3 chefs from thailand to do the cooking , so believe me, what ever u order, U WILL ASK FOR MORE!!!

I'm NOT having a headache but just dont know what to order....my 2nd time there!! The food is so authentic thai & it's very crowded during dinner time esp the weekends!! Sad to say, no reservation allowed but the Q is fast la.......So if i can wait for 30-45 mins to get a table, the food here MUST BE DAMN good lor!!! And here i am,......siting at a table OUTSIDE the eatery...so imagine...all full liao!!!

This suckling pig is so big, we only had the skin with the popian....and the rest of the meat, including the head, legs.....i brought it home cos no one wants lor!! They had to packed into 4 big boxes and i had to gave away to neighbours to cook......

Every year i will buy pussy willow for CNY. But tis year, the leaves & buds all grow at the right time.....1st day of CNY!! YES....I talked to them !!!

They say if 銀柳 buds grow, that means....有銀子算 ....got money to count.....so the more buds grow, the more money u have !!! WooooHooooo........HUAT AH!!!

I really love anything with PORK!! And i love wan tan mee ...... But wan tan and 水餃鍋貼 is totally different. Altho they use pork, but wan tan mixture include prawns, mushrooms, water-chestnuts and some fried flat-fish (扁魚). However 水餃鍋貼 only have pork & 韭菜in it and the skin is totally made differently from wan tan skin.

I had 25 of these.....and must dip it & eat it with ginger-vinegar!! YUMMY!!

My dad bought tis from a coffeeshop he always hangout with his friends in geylang...and it was made by a china lady. This is TOTALLY HAND-MADE!!

Boil it in hot water.....

SCoop it up when the shui jiao "Float" on the water...that means COOKED liao la!!

There u go......nice, beautiful 水餃 .....
U also can deep-fry them or pan-fry after boiling in water.....or just steam them and eat it!!

went to watch IP MAN the movie and while waiting at the cathay entrance, 3 girls ran up to me to request for photo taking. Then one of the girl, Priscilla Tan, said she is my biggest fans, and HUG me!! I was really happy......cos it's been a long time that i hear someone wan to hug me lor. The hug she gave was sincere and touched my heart.....cos i know wat ever i did, i have supporters!!
